Raise Money

Although Ride4aReason isn't a charity ride you can, of course, use it to raise money for a good cause.

You probably already have a charity in mind but if not, the Charities Aid Foundation (www.cafonline.org) provides a search facility to find a charity - just type in a keyword (ie, Leukemia or a Location, ie, St Albans).

www.ride4areason.org.uk is an event promoted by www.verulamcc.org.uk and very kindly supported by St Albans School (www.st-albans.herts.sch.uk). It is part of National Bike, details can be found at www.bikeweek.org.uk. Bikeweek's national charity partner is Leukaemia Research http://www.lrf.org.uk but there are many other local and national charities if you want to raise money (not a requirement of participation). Details of local charities can be found on Herts Direct (the website of Hertfordshire County Council).
